The deadlock is an additional mortice lock that operates separately from the manufacturer’s locking mechanism. Using a high-security key, it throws a deadbolt into a specially designed holder, providing an extra layer of security to keep thieves and concerns away.
 
The deadlock comes with multiple keys and features multiple levers for added security. It isn't easy to copy keys, and the lock typically includes two keys for convenience.

In some cases you can have up to 3 locks per door, most cases the max you would have would be 1 drivers front door, 1 passenger front door, 2 sliding side door and 2 on the doors with 6 in total.
